Fred Faulkner Jr.
Fred Faulkner, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Fred Faulkner, Sr. and Fannie E. Saunders Faulkner, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, March 10, 1926. He died at 6:35 A.M., Monday, April 13, 2009, in Louisville. Age: 83
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Navy.
He was a graduate of the University Of Louisville School Of Law and practiced law in Campbellsville for over fifty years. He was city judge for ten years and was also a surveyor. He was a member of the Taylor County, Louisville, and Kentucky Bar Associations.
The accomplishment of which he was most proud was his marriage to his wife, Helen Feather since August 2, 1946, some sixty-two years.
Besides his wife, Helen Feather Faulkner of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters and two sons: Phyllis Faulkner Cox, Jan Faulkner Rendle, Fred Faulkner, and Wes Faulkner and wife, Erin all of Louisville; twelve grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister: Garnett Faulkner, Allen Faulkner, Lewis Welby Faulkner, Billy A. Faulkner and Nellie Tweedy.
