BETTY K. BENNINGFIELD
Betty K. Benningfield of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Wade Kearnes and Mary Belle Roberts Kearnes was born June 15, 1929 in Louisville, Kentucky. She died at 6:55 P.M., Friday, May 8, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of the Fruit of the Loom Cafeteria.
She united in marriage to Dan Benningfield October 12, 1948. He preceded her in death May 22, 1988.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James and Lana Benningfield of Madisonville; one sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Randall Phillips of Campbellsville, one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Joan Kearnes of Florence; two nieces and one nephew: Tracy Gibson and husband Chip of Shelbyville, Jolene Kearnes of Florence and Kevin Phillips and wife Jamie of Campbellsville; four great-nephews; a special friend, Garland Cox of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.
