Floyd W. Wise
Floyd W. Wise of Campbellsville, son of the late Chester Dare Wise and Mary Eva Phillips Wise, was born January 3, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:30 A.M., Friday, January 15, 2010 in Campbellsville. Age: 82
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army and received a Purple Heart, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, The Army Occupation Medal (Japan).
He was a former Deputy Sheriff under Sheriff Tom Close, a farmer, a businessman of Taylor County for over forty years and a former Fiscal Court Magistrate for the 2
