Garnett Henderson
Garnett Henderson of Campbellsville, son of the late Garnett Wood Henderson, Sr. and Helen Judd Henderson, was born January 13, 1925, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 4:20 P.M., Thursday, January 21, 2010 in Campbellsville. Age: 85
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was a retired farmer, welder, electrician and plumber.
He united in marriage to Corene Gore April 9, 1946. She preceded him in death August 12, 2002.
He is survived by one son and one daughter: Marilyn Neumann and husband, Brian of Campbellsville and Larry Henderson and wife, Cheryl of Delray Beach, Florida; three grandchildren: Patrick Neumann of Campbellsville, Carla Townsend and Darren Henderson of Lexington; one great-grandson, Alex Townsend; three cousins: David Henderson, Sr. and Donald Henderson of Campbellsville and Lloyd Henderson, Jr. of Elizabethtown; and several other relatives and friends.
