Henry Jackson Allen, Age 89
Henry Jackson Allen of Campbellsville, son of the late John Allen and Rebecca Ann Allen, was born in Larue County, Kentucky, June 4, 1920. He died at 5:30 P.M., Sunday, April 4, 2010 in Campbellsville. Age: 89
He professed faith in Christ and was a member and trustee of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
He was a retired farmer.
He united in marriage to Willya Stearman January 19, 1945. She preceded him in death September 26, 1998.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Margy and Kenneth Pierce of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Jacky Pierce and wife, Julane of Campbellsville and Jill Callison and husband, Paul of Greensburg; five great-granddaughters: Courtney Danielle Callison and Emily Callison of Greensburg and Jalynn Pierce, Natalie Pierce and Chloe Pierce of Campbellsville; brother, James Allen of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters: Nora Vaughn, Elsie Price, Dorine Young, Novella Perkins, Creed Allen, Elmer Allen, Fronie Burress and Everett Allen.
