Richard Edwards Hord, 76
Richard Edwards Hord of Campbellsville, son of the late Benjamin H. Hord and Byrdie Phillips Hord, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky September 16, 1933. He died at 12:15 P.M., Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in Campbellsville. Age: 76
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
He was a retired machinist with Grimes Aerospace.
He united in marriage to Clara Nelle Clark July 30, 1960.
Besides his wife, Clara Nelle Hord of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: David Hord of Greenwood, South Carolina and Laura Albovias and husband, Rev. Joey of Louisville; two grandchildren: Allen Hord and Bradley Hord of South Carolina; four sisters: Nancy Sandidge of Danville, Edna Mildred Garvin of Pensacola, Florida, Annie Laurie Cox of Greensburg and Betty Pike of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
