Vernon Beams, 74
Vernon Beams of Campbellsville, son of the late Arvin Beams and Gladys Underwood Beams, was born in Green County, Kentucky, November 8, 1935. He died at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in Campbellsville. Age: 74
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Roberts Baptist Church.
He was in the Kentucky National Guard for fourteen years.
He was a retired truck driver with the Kentucky State Highway Department, a farmer and had been employed at Anaconda Wiring & Cable in Summersville for nineteen years.
He united in marriage to Barbara Ann Faulkner March 21, 1957. She preceded him in death August 15, 2007.
Survived by one son, Jason D. Beams of Campbellsville; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Peggy Beams of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
