Elmer “Buddy” Hoosier, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Elmer Hoosier, Sr. and Haline Wethington Hoosier, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, January 13, 1949. He died at 4:15 P.M., Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in Campbellsville. Age: 61

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served his country honorably in the United States Marines.
He was a retired Truck Driver.
He united in marriage to Martha Polston May 25, 1975. She preceded him in death March 30, 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Bass Hoosier of Campbellsville; one step-son and one step-daughter: Donnie Seaborne and wife, Susan of Campbellsville and Jennifer Callison and husband, Tim of Bowling Green; seven step-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; three sisters: Annetta Marcum and husband, Mike, Bernadine Hoosier and Phyllis Hoosier of Campbellsville; three nieces and one nephew; several great-nieces and great-nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Hoosier January 22, 2002.
