Internet Sting by Sheriffs Department Results in Arrest
During an undercover sting today the Taylor County Sheriffs Department arrested Frankie Hardin, age 58, 313 Sharon Drive in Campbellsville after the accused transmitted pornographic images of himself via an internet chat room to Taylor County Sheriff Deputies posting as a minor female.
Mr Hardin was arrested for “unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities”, after he came to a pre arranged location in an attempt to make contact with what he thought was a minor.
A search warrant for his residence was executed and various electronics devices, computers and cameras were seized. Mr. Hardin was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.
