Internet “Child Sex Sting” Makes Another Arrest
(Campbellsville, Ky) – The Taylor County Sheriffs Department along with assistance from Detectives from the Kentucky State Police Post 2 and Hopkinsville Police Department executed a search warrant at 202 Millbrooke Drive in Hopkinsville, Kentucky from information received from the ongoing undercover internet ” Child Sex Sting” investigations.
John Bradley Cox, age 38 was arrested yesterday at 7:43 pm and charged with Unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities and Criminal attempt to commit unlawful transaction with a minor 1st degree, after he used an internet chat room to contact and sexually proposition and undercover Deputy from the Taylor County Sheriffs Department. The Deputy was using and online profile of a 13 year old girl. The arrested John B, Cox also transmitted pornographic photos to the deputy. John Cox was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.
