Russell Williams of Campbellsville, son of the late Alfred Edd Williams and Gladys Radford Williams, was born June 11, 1930 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:55 A.M., Monday, July 12, 2010 in Greensburg. Age: 80
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
He was a member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge #124 F & AM and 32 York Rite.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was a retired timber buyer and farmer.
He united in marriage to Betty Garner July 11, 1953.
Besides his wife, Betty Williams of Campbellsville, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gregg and Donna Williams of Campbellsville; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Williams of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Ryan Williams, Tyler Williams and J. T. Williams of Campbellsville, Lindsay Wayne and husband, David of Georgetown and Nathan Williams and wife, Jessica of Louisville;
sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Henry Ward of Greensburg; several other relatives and many friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Larry E. Williams and a brother, Rev. Kenneth Williams.
