Sheriffs Dept. Cracks Down on Child Pornography, Makes Another Arrest
Rocky C Kelly, Age 22
Continuing the on going investigations into Internet Crimes against Children the Taylor County Sheriffs Department conducted an undercover investigation into the distribution and/or possession of Child Pornography.
On August 9th Rocky C. Kelly, age 22, of 299 Campground Road, Campbellsville, KY was arrested after being observed between August 3rd, 2010 and August 9th 2010 sharing 96 known child pornography images and videos via the internet by the means of peer to peer (P2P) software. The Taylor County Sheriffs Department was able to identify the IP address the above subject was using for transmitting and downloading the illegal images and videos resulting in a search of his residence and files on his personal computer. Kelly was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.
Charges filed against Kelly:
- Unlawful Use of Electronic Means to Induce a Minor togaeiu Sexual or Other Prohibited Activities.
- Distribution of matter portraying the sexual performance of minor.
- Possession of matter portraying the sexual performance of a minor.
