Dawn Gupton of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Gordon Ellis and Ina Sharp Ellis, was born December 7, 1947, in Lincoln County, Kentucky. She died at
6:50 A.M., Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Louisville. Age: 62
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Saloma Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, Kentucky Human Resources and Home Health.
She united in marriage to Alvin Gupton August 27, 1966.
Besides her husband, Alvin Gupton of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons and one daughter: Anthony Todd Gupton of Campbellsville, Leigh Ann Bell and husband, Sam of Columbia and Jonathan Gordon Gupton and wife, Kasey of Glasgow; two grandchildren: Stephanie Dawn Bell and Billy James Bell of Columbia; one brother and one sister: Pat Brown of Yosemite and Jay Ellis of Dunnville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Gay Wilson.
