BARBARA JEAN DEENER
Barbara Jean Deener of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Dr. D. L. Druien and Ida Mary Ward Druien, was born April 14, 1923, in Hart County, Kentucky. She died at 7:45 A.M., Friday, September 24, 2010 in Bardstown. Age: 87
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She was co-owner and operator of Caulk Furniture in Campbellsville with her husband, James.
She united in marriage to James W. Deener May 28, 1941. He preceded her in death January 14, 2000.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: John and Janet Deener of Campbellsville and Dee and Judy Deener of Lexington; three grandchildren: Chad Deener and wife, Daryl, and Marsha Jean Warren and husband, Eric of Campbellsville, and Richie Deener of Seattle, Washington; two step-granddaughters: Beth Hensley and husband, Jonathan and Emily McCarty and husband, Hagan of Lexington; four great-grandchildren: Ethan Warren, Eli Warren, Brayden Deener, and Kennedy Deener; one step-great-grandson, Liam Cook; one sister, Irene Arnette of Hodgenville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Deener in infancy and two sisters: Mary K. Kirtley and Orene Tabb.
