Campbellsville Handmade Cherry Furniture Fire
A long time family owned business was destroyed by fire today in Campbellsville. At 9:33 a.m. the Campbellsville Taylor County 9-1 -1 Center received a call reporting a fire at Campbellsville Handmade Cherry Furniture located at 600 Water Tower Bypass in Taylor County. Firefighters arrived to find fire and smoke coming from the structure.
Camphellsville Handmade Cherry Furniture’s showroom was heavily damaged and the manufacturing portion of the building completely destroyed. The fire reportedly started in the spray room. The business employed 4 people. No injuries were reported.
KY Highway 3518 (Water Tower Bypass) was closed for several hours.
Taylor County Fire Department, Campbellsville Fire Department, and Green County Fire Department responded and fought the blaze for several hours.
