Kenneth Peterson, 71
Kenneth Peterson of Campbellsville, son of Catherine Hartman Peterson and the late Archie Peterson, was born December 13, 1938, in Elmira, New York. He died at 9:35 A.M., Monday, November 22, 2010 in Campbellsville at age 71.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church.
He was a retired glazier with Central Kentucky Glass Company.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served his country honorably in the United States Army as a military policeman.
He united in marriage to Rosemary Cushman August 5, 1966. She preceded him in death April 5, 2000.
He is survived by one daughter and four sons: Genie Peterson Kingsley and husband, Terry of Campbellsville, David J. Peterson and wife, Kayla of Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, Martin Peterson and Douglas J. Peterson of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Kenneth Andy Peterson of Charlotte, North Carolina; step-son, Edward R. Ostranger of Elmira, New York; his mother, Catherine Peterson of Gillette, Pennsylvania; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers: Phyllis Peterson Sasenbury and Richard Peterson of Elmira, New York, Robert Peterson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Nils Peterson of Troy, Pennsylvania and Judy Peterson Ameigh of Gillette, Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends, including his “special” family at Grandview Nursing Home.
He was also preceded in death by a stepson, Raymond Ostrander and a grandson, Christopher J. Rice.
