Evelyn Cox of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ray Powell and Mary Opal Bryant Powell was born in Adair County, Kentucky, May 31, 1932. She died at 1:25 A.M., Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Campbellsville. Age: 78

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Mark United Methodist Church.
She was a former telephone operator and former employee of Southway Restaurant.
She united in marriage to Billy Cox October 16, 1960. He preceded her in death January 31, 2001.

She is survived by two daughters: Debby Neat of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Vicki Milby and husband, Ronnie of Campbellsville; four granddaughters: Leigh Dragoo of Elizabethtown, Ericka Grant and husband, Matt of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Tina Kelly of Campbellsville, and Terri Kelly of Lexington; eight great-grandchildren: Sierra Graybeal, Devon Graybeal, Dalton Grant, Cade Grant, Addison Grant, Carli Dragoo, Brady Dragoo, and Isaiah Bradshaw; one sister, Nancy Hill and husband, Bobby of Bowling Green; several other relatives and many friends.
