Henry “Sonny” Phillips, 89, of Robin Road, Campbellsville died Friday, December 17, 2010 in Louisville after an illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.W. and Bertie Eads Phillips, one daughter, Teri Kay Poland, two brothers, Fletcher Phillips and Merlin Phillips, two sisters, Mattie Allen Pickett and Vernetta Taccamonti.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Stephen H. and Patti Phillips of Campbellsville, four grandchildren Meagan Poland of Indianapolis, Aaron & Annette Phillips of California, Adam Phillips  and Ashley Phillips of Campbellsville, one brother, Robert Phillips of Campbellsville and one sister Louese Russell of Campbellsville.

Family request visitation after 4:30 PM, Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home

Memorial  graveside services will be conducted at 11AM, December 28, 2010 at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.  Military honors will be by the Marion County DAV Honor Guard.

Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flower family request expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.  These donations can be made at the funeral home.
