Timmy Smothers of Campbellsville, son of Mattie Jean Spurling Smothers and the late Paul Smothers, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, January 18, 1962.  He died at 11:00 P.M., Monday, December 20, 2010 in Campbellsville.   Age:  48

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Spurlington United Methodist Church.

He was a decorator, designer and salesman.

He is survived by his mother, Mattie Jean Smothers of Campbellsville; one brother and three sisters and spouses:  Paula Jean and John Smith, Debbie and Jimmy Wentworth, Donna and Lonnie Lemmon and Paul Brian and Jennifer Smothers of Campbellsville; special friend, Donnie Smith of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
