Dannie D. Cox, 62
Dannie D. Cox of Campbellsville, son of the late Huston Cox and Beechel Tungate Cox, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, September 23, 1948. He died at 1:38 P.M., Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in Horse Cave. Age: 62
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Temple.
He was an employee of DART Container in Horse Cave.
He united in marriage to Mary Nell Rafferty May 15, 1979.
Besides his wife, Mary Nell Cox, he is survived by two sons and two daughters: Rev. Brian Rafferty, Pastor of Elk Horn Baptist Church and wife, Dana, Dana Welch and Melinda Cox of Campbellsville and Dr. John Cox and wife, Dr. Angela Cox of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren: Blake Sallee, Destiny Rafferty, Jacob Welch and Josh Welch of Campbellsville; one brother and two sisters: Dalton Cox and wife, Kathleen of Elk Horn, Wilma Boston and husband, Robert and Beverly Sue Cox of Campbellsville; two sisters-in-law: Marcella Cox and Linda Cox of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: David Cox and Donald Edmond Cox.
