Gerald “Jed” Dudgeon, 56
Gerald “Jed” Dudgeon of Campbellsville, son of Jean Rice Dudgeon Hadley and the late Ray Dudgeon, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, February 23, 1954. He left this world to go home to be with the Lord at 11:44 A.M., Sunday, February 13, 2011. Age: 56
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon.
He left his family to cherish his memory and look forward to the day they will be reunited with him in Heaven.
He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Campbellsville Industries.
He united in marriage to Ila Clements April 20, 1973.
Besides his wife, Ila Dudgeon, he is survived by one daughter and one son: Stacey Porter and partner, Sam Welch and Michael Dudgeon and wife, Nikki of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Dylan Porter, Casey Ryan Hardin and Westin Lee Dudgeon of Campbellsville; his mother, Jean Hadley of Campbellsville; one brother, Billy Dudgeon of Campbellsville; three half-brothers and three half-sisters: Chat Humphress and Lora Hicks of Campbellsville, Mike Dudgeon of Russell Springs, Darrell Dudgeon of Columbia, Patty Milby of Knoxville, Tennessee and Jo Anna Bennett of Fairplay; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, James Hadley and half-sister, Leisha Barke.
