Margaret Lane Shirley
Margaret Lane Shirley of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ike Lane and Eva Brockman Lane, was born in Green County, Kentucky, March 2, 1929.
She died at 2:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 82
She united in marriage to M. D. Shirley in October 2, 1944.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Millers Chapel United Methodist Church.
Besides her husband, M. D. Shirley, she is survived by three daughters and one son: Maida Shines and husband, Garland and Melinda
D. Shirley of Campbellsville, Marcella Burress and husband, Leonard of Shepherdsville and Michael Lane Shirley and wife, Earlene of Maryville; seven
grandchildren: Whitney Heath, Priscilla Barnes, Jennifer Adams, Amanda Birch, Jacob Noel, Hannah Shines and Christina Shirley; one step-granddaughter, Sarah Young; nine great-grandchildren: Nick Barnes, Danny Colvin, Matt Colvin, Jake Noel, Raelyn Young, Paul Adams, Destiny Birch, James Birch and Victoria Birch; four step-great-grandchildren: Emily
Heath, Alex Heath, Audrey Young and Alexis Ward; one sister, Louvenia Weatherford of Elk Horn; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives
and friends.
