Campbellsville man charged with cultivating marijuana over 5 plants
On Friday, September 23, 2011 at approximately 11:25 hours Deputies with the Taylor County Sheriffs Office investigated a complaint of marijuana cultivation at 705 Dell Street, Campbellsville. Deputies arrived and found several suspected marijuana plants in plain view. Upon further investigation Deputies found 88 suspected marijuana plants, suspected processed marijuana, drug paraphernalia, over $500.00 in cash. Deputies learned that Marvin Perry Rooker was the owner of the property. Rooker was charged with Trafficking in a controlled substance within a 1000 yards of a school, cultivating marijuana over 5 plants, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Rooker was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.
