Travis Lewis
Travis Lewis of Campbellsville, son of the late Forest Lewis and Florence Brown Lewis, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky January 21, 1928. He died
at 8:41 A.M., Friday, October 7, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
He was a retired from the Taylor County School System.
He united in marriage to Lora Davis November 20, 1947. She preceded him in death November 16, 1987.
He united in marriage to Mattie Kearney Noel January 7, 1990.
Besides his wife, Mattie Lewis, he is survived by two daughters and two sons: Linda Seaver, Brenda Blevins and husband, Billy Frank and Roger Lewis and wife, Penny of Campbellsville and Donald Lewis and wife, Cindy of Seattle, Washington; one step-daughter, June Parker and husband, Kenny of Campbellsville; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchlildren;one great-great grandson; one sister, Maxine Rice of Ottawa, Illinois; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three sons: Tony Lewis, Lonnie Dean Lewis and Travis Eugene Lewis; a granddaughter, Kimberly Harris and a sister, Lucille Perry.
