Joycelyn P. Bartley
Joycelyn P. Bartley of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Elijah “Lige” Phillips and Essie Goodin Phillips, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, September 23, 1936. She died at 11:23 A.M., Sunday, October 16, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 75
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She was a former employee of Town & Country Furniture and Holda Systems.
She united in marriage to Edmond Bartley July 11, 1960. He preceded her in death August 29, 1995.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Bart Bartley and his wife, Andrea and Tibby Durham and husband, Dr. Clint Durham of Campbellsville and Dr. Roger Brockman and wife, Dawn of Fishers, Indiana; nine grandchildren: Kristen Caulk Brockman of Los Angeles, California, Victoria Cox of Lexington, Kelsi Brown, Jessica Brockman and Alex Brockman of Indiana, Eli Bartley, Addison Durham, Luke Durham and Callie Durham of Campbellsville; one great-grandson, Aiden Clark of Campbellsville; special friend, Susan Epperson of Elizabethtown; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Max Phillips March 4, 1945.
