Sharon Lynn Garmon
Sharon Lynn Garmon of Greensburg, daughter of the late Richard F. Edwards and Mary Lois Wilcoxson, was born March 5, 1956, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She was later adopted by her grandparents, Ezra and Izia Wilcoxson. She died at 7:15 P.M., Thursday, December 15, 2011 in Louisville. Age: 55
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of Taylor Regional Hospital, Metzmeier Nursing Home and St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington and also a cosmetologist.
Besides her husband, Bobby Garmon, she is survived by one son and one daughter: Shane Garmon and wife, Robin and Wendy Pickett and husband, Ryan of Greensburg; three step-daughters and one stepson: Teresa Adwell of Knob Lick, Phyllis Houchens and husband, David and Adam Garmon of Glasgow and Sandy Karnes and husband, Jamie of Cave City; step-son-in-law, Charlie Harbison of Edmonton; a grandson, Aiden Pickett of Greensburg; several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her step-mother, Evelyn Edwards of Greensburg; one brother and five
sisters: Iva Nell McDonald and husband, Quilley of Campbellsville, Glenda Edwards of Greensburg, Mike Wilcoxson of Lancaster, Linda Pence and husband, Scott of Nicholasville, Brenda Roadcap and husband, Larry of Stanardsville, Virginia and Barbara Hale and husband, Richard of Maysville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents: Richard F. Edwards and Mary Lois Wilcoxson ; her grandparents: Ezra and Izia Wilcoxson; one brother, Hollis
Wilcoxson and one step-daughter, Judy Harbison.
