Police Find Meth Lab in City Limits
The Campbellsville Police Department today, Wednesday October 3, 2012, received information days ago reporting a peculiar smell emanating from a residence on Hord Street. Officer began to investigate and learned the occupants were wanted on warrants from Washington County.
At approximately 4:45 PM, Officers went to 107 Hord Street to execute the outstanding warrants on William Tate, Jr. and Pamela R. Brown. Upon entering the residence, Officers discovered what they perceived to be the paraphernalia and ingredients of a Methamphetamine Laboratory to manufacture the substance.
Officers immediately secured the scene and called for a team to dismantle the lab and dispose of the chemicals. Kentucky State Police Troopers from Post 15 and Drug Enforcement responded to assist. The scene was secured and dismantled without incident.
Officers arrested William “Junior” Tate; age 26 of 107 Hord Street on an Indictment Warrant from Washington County and Pamela R. Brown, age 21 of 107 Hord Street on an Indictment Warrant from Washington County. Both were lodged in the Taylor County Jail.
The investigation continues and additional charges are possible.
