James Wade Roberts

James Wade Roberts, of Campbellsville, son of the late Fred Roberts and Esther Wade Roberts was born April 12, 1926 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died

at 3:30P.M., Friday June 21, 2013 in Campbellsville.   Age: 87

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.

He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Naval Air Force.

He was a farmer and former employee of Ashland Oil and the Army Corp of Engineers.

He united in marriage to Gladys Wise January 17, 1953.

Besides his wife, Gladys Wise Roberts of Campbellsville, he is survived by two brothers and one sister: Bobby Roberts and wife Carolyn, Elwood Roberts and special friend, Irene Stansbury and Alice Nance and husband, Bob of Campbellsville; two brothers-in-law: Willie Wise and Willard Wise and wife, Delma of Campbellsville; two sisters-in-law: Wilma Wise of Campbellsville and Jo Ann Hedgespeth of Fairborn, Ohio; special niece, Lee Anne Martin of Littleton, Colorado; and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers: Vivian Spochwski, Derald Roberts and Fred Roberts, Jr.
