Fred Erhart, age 76
Fred Erhart, 76, of Campbellsville died unexpectedly on Monday, April 6, 2015 at his home in Campbellsville.
He was born Alexander Fred Erhart, on November 3, 1938 in Woodbury, New Jersey to the late Alexander and Josephine Gallo Erhart. He had worked at a Sherwin-Williams production facility and had moved to a farm in Taylor County on Speck Ridge 20 years ago. Besides attending local auctions, he enjoyed gardening and liked to fish.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte “Dollie” Erhart; two daughters, Nancy Kevett and her husband, Terry and Sandra Erhart, of Elkhorn; a son, Fred Erhart and his wife, Michelle of Missouri and seven grandchildren, Sarah, Rachael, Caleb, Mary, Justus, Isaac and Esther Erhart, along with several nieces and nephews.
A grandson, Aaron Erhart, preceded him in death.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home where viewing will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association. Donation may be made at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
