Mrs. Doris Adelle (Milby) Keltner was born in Green County on August 1, 1934 to the late Harold and Rosie (Elmore) Milby. She peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the home of her son surrounded by a large number of her closest friends and family. She was 81 years, 6 months, and 16 days of age. Mrs. Keltner professed faith in Christ and attended God’s Grace Church. The matriarch of a large, well-respected family, Mrs. Keltner was a full-time homemaker. It came natural for her to always keep her house neat and tidy, and to be ever ready to share some of her best cooking with her family and friends. She enjoyed keeping her mind sharp with puzzles and games, and especially enjoyed a friendly game of Rook. Her handmade quilts will be treasured for generations.

She leaves to carry her legacy:
Four children: Jerry Keltner and wife Shona of Hope, Indiana, Terry Keltner and wife Kathy of Campbellsville, Patty Stanfield and husband Ernie of Nicholasville, and Doris Osborne and husband Rick of Campbellsville,
Four siblings: Holland Milby and wife Patty, Mike Milby, Sue Southern and husband James, and Sharon Sharp and husband Randall, all of Campbellsville,
16 grandchildren,
43 great-grandchildren,
5 great-great grandchildren,
Several nieces and nephews,
Her friends at Jackson Towers,
And a host of other extended family and close friends.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Keltner was preceded in death by three husbands and one daughter, Brenda Marcum.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Keltner on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. The eulogy will be delivered by her grandsons, Bro. Jason Keltner and Bro. Tyler Ratner.
