Cleston McCubbin, age 81, formerly of Campbellsville
Cleston McCubbin, age 81, of Cibolo, Texas, formerly of Campbellsville died Saturday, February 27, 2016 in San Antonio.
He was born March 13, 1934 in Green County to the late Herbert and Mary Ellen Milby McCubbin. Cleston served in the U. S. Army following World War II. He retired from Phillip Morris in 1987. He was a member of the Spurlington United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth Lee McCubbin; his brothers, Grady, Paul, Thurman, Everett, Eles, Evan, Kevin, Delmer, Elmer, Raymond, Loren and Celveln and a sister Christeen McCubbin.
He is survived by his wife, Billie McCubbin of Cibolo, Texas; a son, Tony McCubbins and his wife, Irma of San Antonio; a daughter, Jo Ann Gaddis and her husband, Gary, of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Mildred Coffey of Louisville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 4th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Mt. Washington, KY.
The family request visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 3rd at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
