Maynard PICMr. George E. Maynard, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of the late George E., Sr. and Opal (Baisden) Maynard, was born in Kermit, West Virginia on March 10, 1945. He departed this life on March 19, 2016 in Cincinnati, Ohio after an extended illness. He was 71 years and 9 days of age. Mr. Maynard professed faith in Christ and attended the East Campbellsville Church of God. He was married to Mrs. Ann Maynard, who preceded him in death in 2003. Mr. Maynard retired from the Fruit of the Loom Factory after 31 years of service; however, because he loved people, he would continue to work at Amazon and as a driver for the local Amish community. He loved laughter, children, family, and sports so it came natural for him to coach both little league baseball and football. Memories of him with his family gathered around a table of good food will be forever cherished by those closest to him.

He leaves to mourn his passing:
One daughter and two sons: Alison Maynard , Roger Dale Maynard and wife Tina Daniels-Maynard, and B.K. Maynard and wife Martha-Gail, all of Campbellsville,
Three sisters: Eloise Bea Baker and husband W.K., and Debbie Sapp and husband Tommy, Jr., all of Campbellsville, and Della Mae Damron of Greensburg,
One granddaughter: Madison Grace Maynard, and a host of extended family and friends.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Rose, Corina Sue Bault, and Lois Jean “Toby” Evans.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Maynard on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Robbie Spencer and Bro. Billy Adams will be officiating.
