Freddie Wilson, 68
Mr. Freddie Thomas Wilson of Columbia was born on Tuesday, October 21, 1947 in Taylor County to the late Samson Grady and Julie Ann (Hughes) Wilson. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the University of Louisville Hospital after a lifetime battle with several illnesses. He was 68 years, 5 months, and 2 days of age. Mr. Wilson had a big heart and loved helping people. Two things he relished, though some would consider them a chore, was mowing yards and caring for his animals. Mr. Wilson professed faith in Christ and attended the Feathersburg Church of God.

Nieces and nephews: Cozetta Thompson of Campbellsville, Rosetta Stotts and husband Larry of Columbia, Leo Thompson of Campbellsville, Doug Thompson of North Carolina, Ricky Farmer and Marvin Farmer, both of Arkansas, Angie Gail Cox and husband Terry of Campbellsville, Dean Wilson of Campbellsville, Dennis Wilson of Elizabethtown, and Sherry Edwards and husband Dave of Elizabethtown,
And a host of other family and close friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Wilson on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 10:00 AM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Jody Perkins will be officiating.
Interment will follow in the Callahan Cemetery, 4571 Speck Ridge Rd, Elk Horn, KY 42733.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 25, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST.
