Quinton Brockman
Quinton Brockman of Campbellsville, son of the late James Rica “Ricey” Brockman and Audrey Marie Wilson Brockman, was born September 9, 1936, in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 11:24 A.M., Friday, May 20, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Broadway Church of Christ.
He retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after 30 years of service.
He united in marriage to Judy Bright December 24, 1959.
Besides his wife, Judy Bright Brockman of Campbellsville, he is survived by four sons: Doug Brockman and wife, Sherry, Danny Brockman and Shelly Wilson, David Brockman and Dr. Donnie Brockman of Campbellsville; eleven grandchildren: Natalie Brockman, Candace Brockman, Hannah Brockman, Cherith Brockman of Campbellsville, Lauren Shunnarah and husband, Alex and Lyndsey Brockman and fiancé, Dee Poynter of Bardstown, Katelyn Johnston and husband, Ben of Bridgeport, West Virginia, Tyler Edrington, John Daniel Brockman and wife, Katie, Andrew Brockman and fiancé, Angel Wise and Alex Brockman of Campbellsville, four great-grandchildren: Kyrie Poynter, Kynlie Johnston, Bently Brockman and Owen Brockman; three sisters and three brothers: Joann Wooters and husband, Glenn of Shelbyville, Sandra Dick and husband, Doug of Lexington, Amilee Reynolds of Richmond, Doyle Brockman and wife, Etta of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ward Brockman and wife, Josphine of Windsor, Dennis Brockman and wife, Brenda of Knoxville, Tennessee as well as several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers: Reginald Brockman, Clark Brockman, Nathan Brockman and Gary Brockman.
