Paul McCubbin
Paul McCubbin of Campbellsville, son of the late William Nathan McCubbin and Vanda Foster McCubbin, was born April 24, 1924, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 3:55 A.M., Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Greensburg. Age: 92 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a retired Kentucky Alcohol, Beverage Control Officer and was a former Taylor County Sheriff. He was also a former employee of B & B Landscaping, President of the Jaycees and a farmer. He had farmed all of his youth and was happy knowing he could feed others as well as his own family. He was honored by the Governor of Kentucky as an outstanding farmer for the State of Kentucky. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorable in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Marie Miller who preceded him in death and later united in marriage to Martha Jane Acree June 2, 1973. Besides his wife, Martha Jane McCubbin of Campbellsville, he is survived by three sons and one daughter: Barry McCubbin and wife, Jessica of Campbellsville, Marvin McCubbin and wife, Bunny of Mt. Washington, Doug McCubbin and wife, Phyllis and Paula Ann Hedeen of Ellison Bay, Wisconsin; two step-children: Earl Milby and wife, Paula of Campbellsville and Ruth Warren and husband, Dean of Summersville; twelve grandchildren: Suzanne Wilson, Marvin McCubbin, Jr., W. D. McCubbin, Phil McCubbin, Simon Hedeen, Peyton McCubbin, Blake Milby, Hannah Milby, Stan White, Sydnie Fields, Jaxon McCubbin and Cailen Nolley; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters: Betty Lou Smith and husband, Granville of Louisville and Barbara Rogers of Ft. Walton, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
