George “Woody” Anderson, age 58

George Elwood “Woody” Anderson, age 58, of Campbellsville, died Monday, November 14, 2016 in Louisville following a lengthy illness.

Woody was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky the son of the late George Elwood Anderson, Sr. and Betty Stubbs Anderson, who survives.    His father-in-law, Herbert Graybeal also predeceased him in death.

Woody had worked at Aluminum Fabricators until its closure at which time he became employed with Campbellsville Industries until his illness.   He thoroughly enjoyed old cars and had at one time raced Go-Karts.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Anderson; three sons, George Mitchell “Mitchie” Anderson, Robert Lewis Anderson and his wife, Jessica and Thomas Adrian Peppers and his wife, Leslie; two daughters, Hope Renzelli and her husband Ron, and Tiffany Judd and nine grandchildren.  Also surviving are his mother, Betty Anderson; two brothers and their wives, Kenny and Brenda Anderson and Jimmy and Lisa Anderson; a sister, Mary Whitlow and his mother-in-law, Pauline Graybeal, all of Campbellsville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. Robbie Spencer and Bro. Ray Judd officiating.   Burial will follow in Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery with pallbearers being, Jimmy Anderson, Ronnie Hare, Jeff Rayburn, Lumis White, Danny Elkins and Donald Colvin.    Honorary pallbearers will be former employees of Aluminum Fabricators and the current employees of Campbellsville Industries.

The family requests visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 17th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
