Hilda Faye Parker, 65
Hilda Faye Parker of Maryville, Tennessee, formerly of Campbellsville, passed away peacefully from this world into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, February 18, 2017. She was a saved child of God and a faithful member of Little River Fellowship of Maryville, TN.
She is preceded in death by her infant twin sons, Bobby Dale and Robby Dean Parker; her parents, Vertie and Annie White of Campbellsville, KY; brothers, Guy Gene White of Campbellsville, KY and James “Roundy” White of Elkhorn, KY.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, Billy D. Parker of Maryville, TN; son, Byran Brad Parker and wife Tonda of Walland, TN; daughter, Brandi Fay Parker of Charlotte, NC; and Wendi Kay Howell and husband Daniel of Maryville, TN. She leaves 7 grandchildren: Jonathan Bledsoe and wife, Megan; Whitney Parker, Daniel Parker, Hannah Parker, Daniel “D.J.” Howell, Alexis Howell, and Porsha Howell; and 1 great grandchild, Ryleigh Bledsoe; all of Maryville, TN. She also leaves behind many 7 siblings: sister, Audrey Jones of Campbellsville, KY; sister, Nelda Berry and husband James of Campbellsville, KY; sister, Ola Davis of Campbellsville, KY; sister, Carol Davis and husband Larry of Elkhorn, KY; brother, Harold White and wife Susan of Elkhorn, KY; sister, Arlene Hunt and husband, Tommy of Campbellsville, KY; and sister Judy Bright and husband Alvin of Campbellsville, KY.
Hilda was a beautiful, kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family more than anything in this world. She loved God, and she loved her church. She was an amazing seamstress, who could sew and alter anything given to her. She most enjoyed spending one-on-one time with each of her grandchildren-making crafts, telling stories, and listening to anything they shared with her. They gave her so much joy.
There will be a graveside service on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Elkhorn Cemetery where she will be laid be laid to rest beside her beloved twin sons.
The family requests visitation from 6-8 PM on Wednesday in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
