Mrs. Dellar (Loy) Cheatham, daughter of the late George and Gunnie Nancy (Morrison) Loy, was born on January 7, 1924 in the Chance community of Adair County. She departed this life on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Taylor Regional Hospital at the age of 93 years, 2 months, and 27 days. Mrs. Cheatham enjoyed working on her farm, playing golf, wordsearch puzzles, and watching Judge Judy, and used her spare time to serve others and help people. Although she and her husband had no children, she was loved and cared for by the Wheeler sisters and their brother Donnie, which are her nieces and nephew.

She was also preceded in death by nine siblings: Ida Mae Wheeler, Dorothy Campbell, a twin sister Stella Reliford, Junior Loy, Nannie Reliford, Yank Loy, Bill Loy, Edgar Loy, and an infant sister Doris Loy.

At the request of Mrs. Cheatham, there will be a graveside service on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 12:00 EST/11:00 CST in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1102-1144 Liberty Rd, Columbia, KY 42728. Machelle Perry will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to the Disabled American Veterans. Those can be made in person at the cemetery during the service or anytime at the funeral home.
