Robert Hoskins “R.H.” Weatherford

Robert Hoskins “R.H.”Weatherford of Campbellsville, son of the late Wilbur Weatherford and Lela Hoskins Weatherford, was born March 31, 1928 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:58 A.M., Friday, December 13, 2019 in Campbellsville. Age: 91
He professed faith in Christ and attended First Church of God and formerly attended
Elk Horn United Methodist Church.
R.H. was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after more than twenty years of service and a former bulldozer operator for Bill Cave. He enjoyed farming, gardening, watching westerns and spending time with family and friends
He united in marriage to Audrey Lee Druin June 14, 1952 and she preceded him in death April 25, 1991. He later united in marriage to Priscilla “Sue” Harden Gilpin May 14, 1994 and she preceded him in death August 29, 2018.
He is survived by one son, Robert Lynwood “Woody” Weatherford and wife, Tena of Campbellsville; five step-children: Jeff Gilpin and wife, Denise, Kay Price, Mark Gilpin and wife, Kenna, Vicky Baldock and Todd Gilpin; two grandchildren: Jessica Dillon and husband, Wes and J. T. Weatherford and wife, Jessica; two great-grandsons: Lathan Weatherford and Everett Dillon, all of Campbellsville; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Weatherford and wife, Wanda of Campbellsville; sister-in-law, Louvenia Weatherford of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
R. H. was also preceded in death by a daughter, Geneva Ree Weatherford February 3, 1956 and one brother and one sister: Charles Hoover Weatherford and Marian Perkins.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Jamie Bennett and Rev. Evan Tedder
