Linda Lou Arford, 75 Posted by Lyndell Petty on Sep 24, 2020 Mrs. Linda Lou Alford of Campbellsville was born in Scottsville, KY on December 7, 1944 to Mazie (Wilkerson) Kettles and the late Ray Kettles. She departed this life on Saturday, September 19, 2020 being 75 years, 9 months, and 12 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. A sweet and loving lady, she was an exceptional homemaker; she enjoyed raising a garden and cooking and canning for her family. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in 1997 and spent the later part of her years attending her beloved Sunday School class. Mrs. Alford had a strong faith, and joyfully instilled in her children the love of God and church. She leaves to mourn her passing: Her husband: James L. Alford, Two children: Kristin Bolin and husband Jackie, and James L. Alford Jr., all of Campbellsville, Two grandchildren: Mary Catherine Bolin and Cheyenne Autumn Bolin of Danville, One great-grandchild: Cordelia Reese Bolin of Danville, Five siblings: Madge Bailey of Bowling Green, Richard Kettles of Danville, Carolyn Sue Douglas of Junction City, Jozette Hayes of Danville, and Jeff Kettles of Harrodsburg, And a host of other family and friends. She is also preceded in death by two brothers: James and Bill Kettles. Cremation was chosen by the family. All services will be held privately.
