Mark David Jones
Mr. Mark David Jones, 58, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Rev. James Woodson Jones and Marie Elizabeth Jones of Rochester, New York, was born in Rochester, New York, on April 17th, 1962, and departed this life on December 16th, 2020, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
He had professed his faith in Christ and was a retired minister of Liberty Baptist Church. Besides being a minister, Mark was a former youth minister at Jamestown First Baptist Church in the early 90’s. He worked in the funeral home business and witness to many people while working at the former Lyon-DeWitt Berry Funeral Home on Main Street. Mark was also a former employee of Frost Arnett in Campbellsville, Kentucky. He loved to spend quality time with his family in his spare time. He especially loved his three beautiful daughters and cherished his time with his seven grandchildren. Mark was an avid outdoorsman and especially liked spending time at the lake and camping.
Survived by three daughters: Nicole Buckman and her husband, Joey, of Campbellsville, Kentucky; Beth McCubbin of Campbellsville, Kentucky; and Jami Jones and her boyfriend Jeremy Read of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Seven grandchildren: Logan Parker, Callie McCubbin, Chole McCubbin, Lexi Marcum, Zoe Orberson, Easton Page, and Greyson Page, all of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
One sister and two brothers: Lisa Salem and her husband Joe of Rochester, New York; Robert Jones and his wife Lena of Florence, Kentucky; and Jimmy Jones and his wife Sue of Florida, along with several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Mr. Jones is preceded in death by one brother, Charles Jones.
Walk through visitation is requested from 10am-2pm EST, Monday, December 28th, 2020, at the Auberry Funeral Home on Main Street in downtown Campbellsville.
Funeral services will be at 2pm EST, Monday, December 28th, 2020, at the Auberry Funeral Home on Main Street in downtown Campbellsville.
Social distancing guidelines and mask are required upon entering building.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations toward the funeral expenses for Mr. Mark Jones, which can be made at Auberry Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
