Audrey “Jeanette” Elmore, 85, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Howard Leslie Malone and Rindie Roots Malone, was born in Taylor County on May 7th, 1935, and departed this life peacefully on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville, Kentucky.
Ms. Elmore professed her faith in Christ and was of Methodist faith. Jeanette was a retired Quality Inspector for Fruit of the Loom. She was well-respected and was appreciated for her kindness and compassion as a friend and co-worker.
Jeanette’s greatest joy in life though was being the mother to her two sons (Stephen and Patrick) and “Manette” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ms. Elmore leaves to cherish her memory her two sons: Stephen Elmore and his wife, Kaye of Campbellsville, KY, and Patrick Elmore and his wife, Jamie of Shepherdsville, KY.
Five grandchildren: Jason Elmore and Ben Elmore both of Campbellsville, KY. Audrey Elmore and Madison Elmore both of Shepherdsville, KY. Kristy Elmore-Hensley and her husband Donnie of Columbia, KY.
Two great-grandchildren: Jaden Elmore and Lily Elmore both of Campbellsville, KY.
Three sisters: Glenda Mattingly and her husband Burt of Campbellsville, KY. Irene Begley of Louisville, KY and Shirley Bright of Campbellsville, KY.
Her former husband, William Lewis Elmore, who has been a lifelong friend. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A walk-through visitation will be held Saturday, February 20th, 2021, from 12pm-2pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 20th, 2021, at 2pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
Burial to follow at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens in Campbellsville, Kentucky. J.C. Mings will be officiating the service for Mrs. Audrey “Jeanette” Elmore.
Pallbearers: Stephen Elmore, Patrick Elmore, Jason Elmore, Benjamin Elmore, William Lewis Elmore, and Kristy Elmore-Hensley.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Gideon Bibles.
Social distancing guidelines and masks are required upon entering the building.
