Charlotte Hovious, 69
Charlotte Ann Hovious of Elk Horn in the Knifley Commuity, the daughter of the late Wayne and Kathleen (Jones) Davis, was born March 11, 1952 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Friday, March 12, 2021 in Louisville at the University Hospital. She was 69 years of age.
She retired from Fruit of the Loom after 25 years of service and was of the Methodist Faith.
Charlotte enjoyed playing bingo, going on trips, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Monica Hovious-Houghlin and a brother: Jerry Davis.
Survivors include: her husband: Roger Hovious of Elk Horn; a b brother: Johnny Davis of Elk Horn a half-brother: Danny Grant and wife Julia of South Carolina; two sisters-in-law: Deborah Davis and Marsha Humphress and husband Alvin and a brother-in-law: Phil Hovious and wife Sherry all of Elk Horn and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Charlotte Ann Hovious will be Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Chappel Cemetery at Knifley.
Bro. Tony Streeval will be officiating.
Family requests visitation after 11:00 A.M. Tuesday until time for the service.
