Regina Parker, 74
Mrs. Regina Mae Parker of the Elk Horn community was born on May 30, 1948 to the late Fred Vernon and Cora (Farmer) Watson. She departed this life on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at her home after an extended illness. She was 74 years, 1 month, and 16 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Whites Ridge General Baptist Church. She was a former school bus driver for the Taylor County School Systems, and retired after 30+ years of service. She was also a former employee of Phillips Lanes Bowling Alley and Big K, a farmer, and a homemaker. She will be remembered best as a loving and cherished wife, mother, and grandmother.
She leaves to mourn her passing:

Three children: Chris Parker and wife Billie of Campbellsville, Johnnie Lewis Parker of Elk Horn, and William Logan Parker of Bowling Green,
A half sister: Gerald Ann Brown of Campbellsville,
Three grandchildren: Marina Parker, Emory Parker, and Makayla Cecil,
Six chosen grandchildren: Anthony Baumgardner, Savannah Farmer, Olivia Farmer, Jordan Farmer, Gavin Jeffries, and Aria Robinson,
And a host of other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two children: Michelle Watson and Cheryl Corbin; and twenty siblings: Nina, Neda Kaye, Anna, Magalene, Mary, Dorothy, Frances, Vernon, Archie, Cozetta, Willie, Buster, Johnny, Jewell Dean, Freddy, and four infants.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Parker on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) in the (Campbellsville chapel) of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Interment will follow in the Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 18, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST (4:00-7:00 PM CST).
