Harlie White
Harlie White died Tuesday morning, April 2, 2024, from Alzheimer’s Disease. He was 88 years old. He passed peacefully with family at his bedside, listening to 50s music.
Harlie was best known as long time professor of math and computer sciences at Campbellsville College/University. Many a student seeking career guidance heard his advice “Learn to teach Math. You’ll be more likely to get a job.”
Those of us close to him will remember him as a man devoted to his family.
Leoma died in 2016, after 58 years of Marriage.
Harlie is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Jeff and Sharon of Louisville, Greg and Trish of Nashville; five adult grandchildren: Abbie White McLeod and husband, Ben, Leigh White, Dylan White and wife, Hannah Meers, Phillip White and Stuart White and wife, Hannah; four great-grandchildren: Harley Meadows, Colette McLeod, Eloise McLeod and William White and a large extended family, many friends and colleagues.
Visitation Friday April 5 from 5:00 until 8:00. Funeral services will be at Parrott and Ramsey Saturday April 6 at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Memorial Gardens.
