Junior Moore
Junior Moore, son of the late Alfred Cleaver Moore and Virgie Elizabeth McCarty Moore, was born on September 15, 1941 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died Thursday, May 16, 2024, in Campbellsville. Age: 82
Junior was a retired truck driver. He loved to fish, hunt and be outdoors. He also enjoyed listening to the Swap Shop and 4-wheeling. Junior was known as the “Chicken Man” in town and was known as “Moose” to his close friends.
He united in marriage to Mildred Underwood December 22, 1962.
Besides his wife, Mildred Moore of Campbellsville, Junior is survived by three sons and two daughters: Mark Moore of Harrodsburg, Greg Moore, Scotty Moore, Pam Bradley and Tammy Paxton of Campbellsville; five grandchildren:
Tyler Moore, Mia Moore, Shelby Bradley, Ashley Paxton and Allie Moore; four great-grandchildren: Hunter Corbin, Braelyn Moore, Emma Caven and Ellie Mae Caven; two brothers and one sister: Paul Moore and wife, Mary Ann of Lebanon, Robert Moore of Raywick and Joyce Porter of Finley; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Junior was also preceded in death by four sisters: Betty Nelson, Aileen Whitlock, Linda Sue Cox and Tresea Hardin.
