Agnes Mann Rhodes
Agnes Mann Rhodes, daughter of the late Eddie B. Mann and Chloe Alma Stayton Mann, was born on May 6, 1925 in Mannsville, Kentucky. She died at 5:15 P.M., Monday, June 17, 2024, in Campbellsville. Age: 99
She professed faith in Christ and was a life-long member of Mannsville Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for over twenty years.
Agnes was an employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville for twelve years and a homemaker.
She united in marriage to L. B. Rhodes September 6, 1941 and he preceded her in death February 25, 1967.
Agnes is survived by one son and one daughter: Dean Rhodes and wife, Sherri of Campbellsville and Judy Keltner and husband, Winston of Columbia; one daughter-in-law, Sheila Moomaw and husband, Scott of Shepherdsville; two sons-in-law: Robert Underwood and Fred Witham and wife, Brenda of Campbellsville; ten grandchildren: Byron Lewis Witham, John Layne Witham and wife, Kelli, Jason Lee Underwood and wife, Tiffany, Laura Ann James and husband, Kenny, Larry Bradley Rhodes, Deborah Denise Yocom, Nathan Dean Rhodes and wife, Elisha, Nicholas Landon Rhodes and wife, Jill, Jared Lee Keltner and wife, Amanda and Megan Renee Staten and husband, Mike; twenty-one great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Agnes was also preceded in death by two sons and three daughters: Larry Rhodes, Evelyn Rhodes, Doris Witham, Ann Underwood and Bobby Joe Rhodes in infancy and four brothers and one sister: Henry W. Mann, Dr. Wanless Ray Mann, John B “Johnnie B” Mann, James Barron Mann and Lelah Mann.
