She is also preceded in death by her favorite son in law, David E. Nichols, Jr.
September 5, 1957, Louise married Wiseman “Buddy” Webb. They would have celebrated 67 years of marriage this September. In addition to her loving husband, she leaves to cherish in her memory two sons, Rusty (Thelma) Webb of Fishers, Indiana; Darin (Michelle) Webb of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; and one daughter, Lagonda Nichols. grandchildren, Kyle (Samantha) Webb of Denver, Colorado, Cortney (Levi) Mundy of McCordsville, Indiana, Erica (Jeremy) Sharlow of Campbellsville, Kentucky, and Dustin Webb (Gracyne Hash) of Campbellsville, Kentucky; great grandchildren, Baylee & Lincoln Sharlow of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Raeleigh Mundy of McCordsville, Indiana, Sloan & Mason Webb of Denver, Colorado. She is survived by one sister, Delores Morrison, of Cambridge, Ohio.
Louise was blessed to have three nieces whom she cherished. Tammy Dee Stack, Renee (Eric) Murphy, & Shelly (Mark) Clipner, daughters of Verna Kay, who was very close to her sister. Louise deeply valued their affection and care, especially during her time of illness.
Louise was a pastor’s wife for 42 years. During that time she also served as the first lady of the Kentucky Church of God of Prophecy alongside her husband for one term. The last 13 of those years were spent at the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy, before retiring and moving to Elizabethtown, Kentucky. As a pastor’s wife, she became a church mom and carried her mothering spirit while serving throughout their ministry together. Her absence will leave a hole in many hearts and her hugs and smiles will be forever missed. We know she will be greeted by many who have gone before her in Heaven, and David will be at the gate hollering, “Weezie, what took you so long?”
She was affectionately known as “Weezie” to family and friends, and she spent her life serving her family as a homemaker. She was a person who loved her family fiercely. Weezie was a mom to many, an excellent housekeeper (always going the distance with her decorating), meticulous organizer, extreme shopper, a bit of a diva, lover of all holidays, and faithful cheerleader to all her kids. She was known in our family as the master grilled cheese maker. She loved to cook, and we all loved to eat her cooking. A sweet and feisty lady who enjoyed gardening, bird watching, hosting, and always welcomed everyone with a hug. Most importantly, she was faithful in her relationship and her walk with God.
