Doris Franklin

Doris Franklin of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Joie Morrow and Sue Coffey Guffey, was born October 3, 1934 in Wayne County, Kentucky. She died at 11:00 P.M., Friday, December 20, 2024 in Campbellsville. Age: 90

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.

Doris was a homemaker and loved her family and friends. She loved her Lord and Savior, loved to sing for the church and could often be heard singing at home.

She united in marriage to George Nelson Franklin, January 3. 1954, and he preceded her in death December 14, 2001.

Doris is survived by three sons and two daughters: Ricky Franklin, Ronnie Franklin, Darrell Franklin, Lois Lacy and husband, Paul, all of Campbellsville and Carolyn Adkins and husband, James of Greensburg; six grandchildren: David Harris, Rebecca Fouch, Andrew Franklin, Kyle Franklin, Jason Gabbert and Tahler Greer; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother: Virgil Morrow; several great-nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by two sons and one daughter: Joey Franklin, Michael Franklin and Teresa Druin and three siblings: Bronnie Morrow, Cecil Morrow and Otis Morrow.
