Randal Rafferty
Randal Rafferty of Campbellsville, son of the late Elbert Carter Rafferty and Pauline Colvin Rafferty, was born July 24, 1949 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:45 P.M., Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in Louisville. Age: 75
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Randal was a retired employee of GTE. He later sold real estate and drove the cancer van from Taylor Regional Hospital to Louisville until the Cancer Center at Taylor Regional Hospital was established. Randal then started and ran Broadway Auto Mart and later added Broadway Auto & Tire.
Randall dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching Westerns and working in his yard.
He united in marriage to Lee Anna Blevins January 3, 1986.
Besides his wife, Lee Anna Rafferty of Campbellsville, Randal is survived by two sons and two daughters: Kevin Rafferty, Angie Wise and husband, Brad, Meagan Rafferty and significant other, Juan Hernandez and Matthew Rafferty, all of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Justin Wise and wife, Erin of Covington, Connor Wise and Ryker Hernandez of Campbellsville; one great-grandson, Reid Wise; one sister, Alice Vaughn and husband, David and one sister-in-law, Wanda Rafferty Sapp, both of Campbellsville; several other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Randal was also preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Rafferty.
